This role requires business savviness, along with an artistic flair for content creation and photography upload. We are looking for someone who is keen to start their career in the third sector, an all rounder who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to help with the wider goal of transforming lives across the Highlands. The potential to make more revenue through our online sales is limitless and we need the right person who can take control, make the job their own and put their digital sales skills to excellent use.

The post-holder will work closely with and report to the Marketing and Communications Director across the range of activities covered by the post.
  • This Graduate Digital Sales Coordinator will report to the Marketing and Comms Director and will also have regular contact with the current Digital Sales Coordinator to ensure the wider strategy is aligned
  • New Start Highland strives to be non-hierarchical where possible. The post holder will work with the wider leadership team and provide them with regular updates and they will also build good working relationships with service managers and those who work and volunteer in our retail outlets

  • An increase in consumers being directed to New Start Highland’s website or social media channels following a relevant keyword search.
  • Familiarisation with the business, team and existing processes and procedures.
  • Analysis of sales and marketing methods for New Start Highland digital retail. Gather findings and present to leadership team.
  • Development of digital retail strategy which would allow New Start Highland to sell more goods online. Ongoing channel management which would include continuous project development and improvement.
  • Launching optimised digital advertisements to increase company and brand awareness and in turn increase digital sales
  • Being actively involved in SEO efforts to ensure New Start Highland appears in Google searches relating to furniture donation, sales and volunteering.
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools
  • Working alongside the marketing and communications director to update the New Start Highland website when necessary.
  • Taking over the running of two main online sales channels - Vinted and Shopify
  • Working with Marketing and Communications Director to run social media channels and undertake community engagement
  • Working with Digital Sales Team to increase online sales
  • Photographing items, uploading for sale and managing the dispatch process effectively and efficiently
  • Being the primary point of contact for online sales
