Furniture
Our Furniture Reuse Service collects donated items and distributes them as required to people in the community who have been homeless or are on low incomes. We keep a stock of the most requested items, with any surplus items stocking our shops, which help to raise money to support New Start's wider service

How to access furniture for your home

As part of our support, New Start offers a furniture reuse service, available to referred clients.

If you are coming out of homelessness, speak to your housing allocation officer (Highland Council, Albyn and Cairn) and they can put in a referral for you.

When picking up your keys at Service Point, ask them to refer you to New Start for furniture.

You may also be referred through other support agencies, charitable organisations or recognised members of our community (such as CAB, Social Work, health visitors, NHS, home carers, housing support or church ministers).

If you are in any doubt about how to get a referral, give us a call on 01463 715615.
