How to access furniture for your home
As part of our support, New Start Highland offers a furnishing service to referred clients. If you are coming out of homelessness, speak to your housing allocation officer (Highland Council, Albyn and Cairn), they can put in a referral for you. When picking up your keys at the service point, ask them to refer you for furniture from New Start. If you are in contact with anyone who works for other support agencies, charitable organisations or recognised members of our community (such as CAB, social work, health visitors, NHS, home carers, housing support or church ministers).
If you are in any doubt about how to get a referral, give us a phone and we will do our best to help - 01463 715615.
