Bike Sales and Building your Own Bike

We refurbish donated bikes and run Build your Own Bike courses, which are accessible to anyone.

To maintain the project, we hold regular sales of quality refurbished bikes with 28 days parts warrenty.

 Our next Sale is Saturday, 7th August 2010!

Training

Our training service offers a supportive environment in which people can develop skills and themselves in preperation for the job market

Some of the recognised certificated training on offer includes PAT test certificates, Fork lift training, Health and Safety courses and Basic Food Hygiene courses.

 
Reuse / Recycling

New Start Highland is one of the main community furniture reuse projects running in the Highlands.  In addition to supporting people who are experiencing a period of vulnerability with either donated furniture or housing support, this project also has very positive environmental implications.

 
Furniture

Our Furniture Service collects donated items and distributes them as required to requested need in the community. We keep a stock of the most requested items, with any surplus ebing directed towards our shops to raise money and support the wider service of New Start

 
Job Club Xtra

Job Club offers free support in job search and increasing interviewing skills etc

 
Housing Support

We provide short term Housing Support to help with setting up and maintaining a tenancy. It is accessible to adults who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. 

Our housing supprt team is available 9-5 Monday to Friday.
